Today we went on the most thrilling flight I have ever been on. It was a 30 minute plane ride into the village of Lukla. We were in a small 'box' plane that sat 15 people. The pilot had to carefully steer the plane onto the super short runway. Once we landed on the ground, we met our assistant guide and porters. Our guide Prakash kindly let us meet his mother and see her home. Then we were off on the start of our trek to Phakding. We trekked for approximately 3 hours till we reached our destination. We then stayed the night at a tea house in Phakding. It was a very rustic and cozy place!
