Island Peak Base Camp
Today, October 18, Braeden, Dad, and I trekked from Dingboche to Island Peak Base Camp. Once we got there we had a light lunch (during lunch it started to snow) and then had our climbing clinic. We learned what various climbing equipment did, how to ascend a rope using a jumar, and how to repel yourself down. We had a delicious dinner around 6:30 pm, and we were in bed at 7 pm to wake up at 12:30 am the next morning.
