The adventure has finally begun! And I say finally because A) we have been planning this trip for months, and B) we were supposed to leave for Detroit around 5 pm... We ended up leaving 3 hours later because packing all of our things into suitcases and duffle bags took a lot longer than expected! We made it to our hotel in Detroit at 11:30 pm

Here is a picture of Braeden flopped on the bed in our lovely hotel room. It's actually quite nice compared to our hotel in Kathmandu and the tea houses we will be staying in along the trek!
It's going to be an early morning tomorrow as we have to catch a flight to Philadelphia at 7am!
