There Goes the Chopper
Today, October 17, my Mom and another sick trekker took a helicopter down to Namche, while my Dad, Braeden and I made our way to Dingboche. It was hard to see her go alone, but we all knew that the best decision was to helicopter her down to a lower level of altitude, where she can get better. My Mom will now spend 4 days there relaxing at the spa :p while we try and climb Island Peak.
